TE6 - Information contents: Data structures
ANCO, ISET, LABEIN, MVV, ZIV and Siemens will work on the technical and the commercial integration of MicroGrid equipment.
The definition of the data structures is based in the IEC 61850 extension features applied to the different dispersed generation technologies. Some of them are incipient prototypes (such a µCHP) but some others share common components (power electronics and inverter in µTurbines, PV and fuel cells). Accordingly to IEC 61400 Part 25 some of the data structures would be shared for distinct DG types and some would be specific for each one.
A second issue under these task objectives is related to the market integration requirements studied in TD6 and TD7, so a strong co-ordination between both tasks will be done to avoid overlapping.
ICCS/NTUA will apply the experience from local load controllers development. The effort is to develop a controller compatible to the modem standards but simple enough to reduce development, maintenance and operational costs.
